I painted a llama π
/Recently, I got the urge to play with paint. I also wanted to try something I've never done before, so...
I got out my acrylics and paint markers, and spent over 50 HOURS painting this life-sized llama! π

This quickly became one of my most favorite art projects ever as I played with colors, patterns and details! π
By far the best part was getting into the creative flow as I applied color after color to the paper mache surface.
In my video, you can follow along as I paint this llama every step of the way ~ well, almost!
It took me 3000+ minutes to paint this llama, but my video is waaaay shorter than that. π
I painted my llama with a base coat of gesso and several cans of spray paint. Then I used acrylic paint and Posca paint markers to create all the vibrant details!
